Alexis and Sam's wedding was held at the beautiful Morikami Japanese Museum and Gardens in Delray Beach, FL on Saturday, June 24th. The bridal party arrived early to take some pictures with the photographer by the water before the sun went down. The ceremony was held inside the ballroom, overlooking the terrace to the Japanese Botanical Garden and forest, just before sunset. Guests began to arrive shortly before 6pm to watch the two exchange vows. After the cocktail hour I asked that everyone find their seating arrangements before introducing the bride and groom. At the couples request, the ballroom was illuminated with beautiful blush LED up lighting, a lovely gobo monogram projecting the names of the couple along with some decorative elements, and a mobile photo booth provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I pumped up the crowd as we welcomed Alexis and Sam to Compass of your Heart by Tokyo. The couple immediately joined hands in the center of the dance floor as they embraced each other and enjoyed their first dance to Halley’s Comet by Dr. Capital. Following the first dance of the newlyweds, I invited Alexis' father, Jason to join her on the dance floor to dance for their first dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Sam’s mother, Laura then joined her son on the dance floor for the mother son dance to Circle of Life by Elton John. After that it was a party for the rest of the night and everyone was dancing to my selection of Disco, Hip Hop and other party favorites. Sam and Alexis cut into their three-tiered black wedding cake around 10:15pm to When I’m Sixty Four by the Beatles. Congratulations Alexis and Samuel! I had a great time partying with you and your families - DJ ELOW
