Wedding and Reception at the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens

On Sunday October 25^th I had the pleasure to play for Sami and Andrea’s wedding at the beautiful Morakami  Museum and Japanese Gardens. Their ceremony took place outside facing the lake. As guests were arriving I played a play list of Daniel Jang violinist. The parents walked down the aisle to Great Is Thy Faithfulness by Carlton Forrester, bridal party & bride walked to How Great Thou Art by Taryn Harbridge. Recessional was to Wedding March by Mendellson.  During cocktail I played a mix of Jazz. Reception took place under the stars, bridal party was introduced to I Got A Feeling by Black Eyed Peas. The new Mr. &  Mrs. Sami Elbadramany were introduced to Marry You by Bruno Mars. The first dance was to Thank God I Got Her By Johnny Diaz, halfway thru this beautiful song a fireworks show was set off over the lake. It was a surprise for all the guests as the sky is shining bright with fireworks as I transitioned the song to Shooting Stars by Owl City. Father and daughter dance was to You’re Nobody Til Somebody Loves You by Dean Martin. Mother and son dance was to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. Speeches were done by father of bride with a special request of playing Mission Impossible theme song as he was announced and Volare by Dean Martin at the end of his speech. During dinner I played a mix of jazz and soft country. Cake cutting was to Sugar by Maroon 5. Bouquet toss was to Dear Future Husband by Megan Trainor. The dance floor was opened to Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and from there on the party kicked in with Top 40’s, Brazilian music, Arabic music and all the fun popular line dances. The last song of the evening was to Save the last dance for me by Michael Bubble.
