Wedding and Reception at the Ocean Key Resort / Key West

On Saturday November 23rd, 2013, the Sunset Pier at the Ocean Key Resort in Key West Florida was the setting for Mr and Mrs Barry and Amy Entin's  wedding and reception. Attention to detail was priority because of the timing and intricacies of the planning. The Wedding was at dockside with the setting sun in the background. The Groom entered to True Companion by Marc Cohn and then the bride entered to Jonathan Cain's classical version of The Wedding March.  The Recessional was  If I Fall Behind Wait For Me by Bruce Springsteen. After the ceremony there was a one hour cocktail reception on the uncovered area of the pier. As planned, I played a variety  Amy and Barry's favorites.

After Cocktails I introduced the Bride and Groom and they entered the tented area of the Pier to their requested song Every Teardrop is a Waterfall by Coldplay. We went straight into the First Dance which was Future Days by Pearl Jam. Amy then had a dance with her dad to WildFlower By Tom Petty and Barry danced with his Mom to In My Life, the Bette Midler version. Most Guests had traveled from the New York area and they were ready to dance! Dance they did to a varied mixture of Classics and Ballads laced with some Modern Dance. The evening ended with the playing of Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run with everybody singing and dancing to the song!
