Wedding and Reception at the Ocean Sky Resort / Ft. Lauderdale

Katie and Tony Kantorski celebrated their wedding at the Ocean Sky Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/15/2014.  The rain held off long enough for the ceremony to take place outdoors on the patio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.  Approximately 130 guests witnessed a beautiful ceremony then were invited to the cocktail hour to enjoy drinks, appetizers and a few tropical/easy listening tunes.  I decorated the ballroom with 24 light blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and Frankie prepared our signature " Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As the guests entered the ballroom, I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Katie chose Celebration by Kool and the Gang for the bridal party entrance and Partyman by Prince for her and Tony's entrance.  The first dance was to My Best Friend by Tim McGraw then Katie danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Tony danced with his mom to Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart.  The toasts were given by Nicole (maid of honor) and the two best men Alex and Brian.  Pastor Freddy gave the blessing before the meal then all of the guests were invited to the buffet/stations to enjoy dinner.  Katie and Tony did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 70's and 80's classic rock and old school hip-hop and r&b.  The mix of music I played was perfect for this crowd and boy did the dance floor get packed after the meals.  I love a great energy filled crowd that enjoys dancing and having fun.  I even took a few requests for the group dances like The Wobble and The Cupid Shuffle.  As the night progressed the happy couple took the time to cut the wedding cake and to have a garter/bouquet toss.  They even stopped by the photo booth for a few pictures with friends and family. The last song for the evening was Piano Man by Billy Joel so as you can imagine all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor to sing along.  Congrats to Katie, Tony and the entire Kantorski and Krzepek families.  Special thanks to the staff at the Ocean Sky Resort for a job very well done!!
