Patrick and Khasandra's wedding at the Old Davie School House in Davie, FL on Dec 1st
Patrick and Khasandra's wedding was held at the Old Davie School House in Davie, FL on Dec 1st. The reception area was brought to life by amber colored LED lights provided by Eddie B & Company, matching perfectly with their floral centerpieces. The guests were seated under some beautiful oak trees where the ceremony took place that afternoon. Khasandra walked down the aisle with her mother and step-father to a cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love with you by Kina Grannis. The newlyweds exchanged rings and vows before celebrating their marriage to Stuck Like Glue by Sugar Land. The cocktail hour took place next to the Old Davie School House under a Chickee hut with games and a bar for the guests to enjoy. After some pictures it was time to introduce the bridal party and the newlyweds. The guests were encouraged to get really loud as I welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgibbon as they walked in to Timber by Kesha and Pitbull. The cheering continued as I invited them to the middle of the floor for their first dance. Patrick and Khasandra embraced each other as I played Cowboys and Angels by Dustin Lynch. Khasandra's step-father was invited soon after to join his daughter in the father daughter dance to My Wish by Rascal Flatts followed by Patrick and his mother Cherie to A Mother’s Prayer by Bonnie J. Barney. Following the first dances, I invited everyone to the dining area for their first dinner course, while the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and the groom’s brother shared very heart-warming toasts. After dinner, we kicked the party off with a very entertaining garter and bouquet toss. Once the guests were done with dinner we continued the party while I played a mix of country and dance party favorites for all the guests to enjoy. I closed everything out to Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest as we all sang along before ending the evening with a sparkler sendoff. Congratulations to Patrick and Khasandra Fitzgibbon. I had a blast with you and your awesome family. DJ ELOW
