Wedding and Reception at The Palms Hotel

Rayyana & Chris McKay celebrated their wedding at The Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami Beach, FL on 9/2/2023.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the venue.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the veranda for the cocktail hour.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Myself and Cecilia took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20, Blue, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and our "Open Air" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests made their way inside of the ballroom, I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Rayyana chose Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves for the bridal party intros and Marry You by Bruno Mars for her and Chris' intro.  The first dance was to Slow Dance by AJ Mitchell then Rayyana danced with her dad to a mix of You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban and El Tanoura by Farkes Karam then Chris danced with his mom to The Wonder Of You by Elvis.  The toasts were given by Tala (MOH) and Tony (BM) then both dads gave very touching welcome speeches.  All of the guests found their seats and the 1st of a 3 course meal was ready to be served.  Rayyana did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, EDM and latin favorites.  Great mix of genres for this very up-beat group of guests so after dinner the dance floor filled up quickly.  They danced the night away and only took a breaker the cake cutting and for the anniversary dance.  I took a few requests for some more country favorites then as the evening came to a close I played Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks...PRICELESS!!!
