On Saturday, December 10th I was in Jupiter, FL at the Pelican Club for the wedding ceremony and reception of Brad and Victoria. The ceremony took place around 3:30pm in a room surrounded by windows, overlooking the intracoastal. They had a string duo for the ceremony music which created a nice elegant atmosphere. The reception area was held in the Grand Ballroom with white linens, large potted plants all around, and 20 LED up lights set to jade, provided by Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions, I invited everyone to stand in a large circle as we all welcomed the new Mr. and Mrs. Parks to Lovebug by Jonas Brothers as 4 cold spark machines lit up the room, also provided by Eddie B & Company. Brad and Victoria then embraced each other for their first dance to I Guess I’m in Love by Clinton Kane. After the first dance I invited Victoria’s father to join his daughter for their father daughter dance to Jurassic Park Theme by the Piano Guys followed by Brad’s and his mother for their mother son dance to Unsung Hero by For King & Country. During dinner, I played a some Motown and easy listening music while the guests enjoyed their meal. After dinner, the newlyweds cut their lavish wedding cake to This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole then we went straight into the bouquet toss to Run the World by Beyoncé as Victoria did an incredible throw to the next bride-to-be. After the bouquet toss I cleared the dance floor and asked Victoria to take a seat on a chair in the middle of the room as I invited Brad up to perform the garter retrieval to Sexyback. The rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, 80s, 90s, and current dance music favorites for all the guests to enjoy. The last song of the evening was Gratitude by Brandon Lake, as Mr. and Mrs. Parks danced together in a en empty room as they took in one final moment together before heading to Hawaii for their honeymoon. Thank you Victoria and Brad for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. - DJ ELOW
