Wedding and Reception at the Pelican Grand

Danielle and Blake Michaels celebrated their dream wedding at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 12/4/2021.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony over-looking the Atlantic Ocean on the 11th floor.  The cocktail hour music was provided by our very own Steuy Blue and his live saxophone sounds.  I decorated the ballroom with 20 blush, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a monogram with their names and the date also provided by Eddie B & Company.  Accompanying me that evening was also our very own Steve Kornicks on percussion.  As I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance all of the guests found their seats.  Danielle chose Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party intros and Timber by Kesha for her and Blake's intro.  The first dance was to Tenerife by Ed Sheeran then Danielle danced with her dad to Dance With My Daughter by Jason Blaine and Blake danced with is mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  The welcoming speech was given by Danielle's dad Mr. Fleet then Kristen (maid of honor) and Josh (best man) gave the toasts.  The 1st of a 3 course meal was ready to be served and the reception was under way.  Danielle did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, classic rock and alternative hits.  Perfect mix of genres for this very excited group of guests.  They filled the dance floor after dinner and kept the energy up all night long.  The cake cutting ceremony was performed as the evening progressed (no garter/bouquet toss) along with a few couples dances.  The closing song for the evening was One More Time by Daft Punk and that put a bow on a great Saturday night wedding.
