Wedding and Reception at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Alexa and Chris Koehler celebrated their wedding at the Pelican Grand Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 9/22/2022.  The ceremony was held on the 2nd floor over-looking the Atlantic Ocean then all of the approximate 25 guests were invited to the cocktail hour inside of the reception ballroom.  Alexa and Chris posed for pictures on the beach with immediate family member while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  Alexa did not want a grand intro but they did dance to Love Of A Lifetime by Firehouse as their first dance.  Chris provided me with a play list that included top 40, country, oldies and 90s hits.  After lunch the dance floor opened up and they only took a break for the bouquet toss (no garter) and the cake cutting ceremony.  Great energy form this amazing group of guests that hailed from Wisconsin.  The last songs for the evening were Last Dance by Donna Summer and Closing Time by Semisonic and that put a bow on a fantastic Thursday afternoon Pelican Beach wedding.
