Carol Anne and Roy Krokowski celebrated their wedding at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL 12/30/2017. Another beautiful outdoor ceremony on the 12 floor of the Pelican overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Approximately 75 close friends and family members arrived at the hotel and witness the ceremony and then were invited to the cocktail hour on the same floor. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 cyon colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 15 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Carol Anne chose Green Light by Pitbull for the bridal party entrance and Gimme Some Lovin by Spenser Davis Group for her and Roy's entrance. The first dance was to You & Me by Lifehouse then Carol Anne danced with her dad to Fathers and Daughters by Michael Bolton. The toasts were given by Jackie (maid of honor), Sarah (matron of honor), Anthony (best man) then Carol Anne's dad Mr. Horowitz gave the welcoming speech. All of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Carol Anne did not provide me with a play list but did ask me to have fun with her guests and to play to the crowd. I played a mix of top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and country. What a great group I played for that evening. The dance floor was packed all night!! As the night progressed we had a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss for all to enjoy. The closing songs for the evening were At Last by Etta James and The Time by The Black Eyed Peas...perfect songs for a perfect wedding. Congrats to Carol Anne, Roy and the entire Krokowski family.
Special thanks to the staff at the Pelican Grand for their amazing service and for always putting a smile on the brides face!
