Wedding and Reception at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort

Jenna and Joseph Berens celebrated their wedding at the Pelican Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/23/2018.  This amazing wedding began with an indoor ceremony on the first floor.  Approximately 60 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the 10 floor for drinks and appetizers.  I played a mix of tropical tunes while everyone mingled and I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 cyon, LED, wireless, up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 24 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Jenna chose You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oats and 24K by Bruno Mars for her and Joey's intro.  The first dance was to Whenever You Come Around by Vince Gill then Jenna danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw and Joey danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts.  The toasts were given by Jamie (maid of honor) and Chase (best man) then Jenna's dad Mr. Waltz gave the welcoming speech.  Jenny Pollard (bridesmaid) gave the blessing of the meals then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Jenna did provide me with a play list that included top 40, 80s and 90s hits, classic rock and Motown.  Perfect mix for this fun group of guests!!  They danced the night away and only took a break for the garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting.  As the evening progressed I did take a few requests for country music and for the newer group dances.  The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dane For Me by Michael Buble...perfect song to end a perfect day!!
