Michaela and Andy Alayamini celebrated their wedding at the Pelican Beach Resort in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 5/11/2019. The outdoor ceremony took place on the 12th floor over-looking the Atlantic Ocean. Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the cocktail hour on the same floor. Everyone enjoyed drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes and I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 11 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Michaela chose Now That We Found Love by Heavy D for the bridal party intros and Beautiful Day by U2 for her and Andy's intro. The first dance was to a choreographed mix that was put together by Andy then Michaela danced with her father to Little Girl's Eyes by L. Kravitz and Andy danced with his mom to Can You Feel The Love Tonight by Elton John. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by Amanda (maid of honor) and Wasim (best man) and the reception was under way. Michaela did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 80s and 90s dance hits and Motown. This was truly and fun group of guests that filled the dance floor and partied all night. There was no garter toss but Michaela did have a bouquet toss and the cake cutting ceremony. I did take a few requests for the Cha Cha Slide and The Cupid Shuffle as the evening progressed. The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble and that put a bow on a great Saturday night Pelican Beach wedding.
Congrats to Michaela, Andy and the entire Alayamini and Kelly families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Pelican Beach Resort for always providing 5 star service!
