Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the wedding blog.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of hosting the wedding ceremony and reception for David and Deborah.
It was held at the beautiful Pelican Grand Resort on Ft. Lauderdale Beach!. The ceremony held in the 11th floor ballroom...Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean!
As the guests arrived I played some modern classical tunes by the Vitamin String Quartet. Then the bridal party walked onto the sand. i played "Someone like You" by Van Morrison. Deborah made her appearance shortly after that. As she walked in, the guests were listening to " I get to Love You" by Ruelle. The ceremony was performed by a family friend. The recessional song was " How Sweet it Is" by Marvin Gaye.
After the ceremony, all of the guests enjoyed drinks and refreshments. I played some "South Beach Vibe" tunes.
The main dining room downstairs was almost prepared. It looked great! .
As the guests walked in I played some cool house music, again to set a mood of fun in the sun.
The grand entrance of the bridal party arrived. Then David and Deborah were introduced. The place went crazy!
I played "Love Ballad" by LTD.
The toasts were said by the Maid of Honor and groomsman. They gave a few words of encouragement to the bride and groom.
After dinner I picked up the pace. We were able to play music from all genres and styles. It was an older crowd so a lot of classics were chosen.
It was a lot of fun!!
