On 6/29/13 Calvin and Karen Mason had their wedding ceremony/reception at the Pembroke Pines Country Club. The reception room was divided for the ceremony on one side. I played classical music for pre-lude as guests were being seated. The wedding party walked to "Serenade From String" by Hayden....the bride walked to "Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Bach....A unity candle was lit as I played "Wings of Love" by Jeffrey Osborne...The recessional was to "The Arrival of the Queen Sheba" by Handel. The cocktail hour took place outside on the patio over looking the golf course. I played a mix of Cameo, Madonna, Santana and many more. The guest entered the ballroom to the sounds of low-key house music as they were seated. The wedding party introduction song was to "Rock & Roll Part II" by Gary Glitter...The happy couple was introduced to "Finally" by CeCe Peniston...The first dance took place after to "Flesh of my Flesh" by Leon Patillo. A special dedication song was next for the maid of honor and her husband of 17 years dancing to their first dance song..."Say Once More" by Amy Grant. After the father/daughter dance took place to ..."My Baby You" by Marc Anthony (My Wedding song). After a few toasts and a prayer the buffet was opened .I set up a projection screen and laptop for them during cocktail and re-looped a slide show for all to enjoy. I played a mix of old skool funk, r&b love songs for dinner. At the end of dinner Calvin the groom had a toast to give for all the men in the wedding party then it was party till the end...Being a Christian wedding they came to dance...A mix of Slave, Michael Jackson, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, Disco, Latin, and Top 40 dance...ending the night with "Goodnight My Love" by Gloria Estefan...Best wishes to Calvin & Karen...enjoy Hawaii...Thanks Roberto (D.J./M.C.
