On Feb.9th, 2013 I was at the Plantation Preserve Golf Club in Plantation for the ceremony/reception of Pierre & Nicole Skinner. The ceremony took place lakeside over looking the golf course as family & friends arrived to the sounds of pre-lude love songs. The wedding party walked to "The Wedding Song" by Kenny G, and Nicole walked to "Canon in D". The couple kissed as husband & wife as played James Brown's "I Feel Good". The cocktail hour took place in the front court yard as I played a mix of Santana, Sade, D.Mathews and many more. Next up, the guests were invited into the main room, which was iluminated by the wireless pink LED up lights and LED dance floor while low key house music played (All lighting from Eddie B & Company). The wedding party was introduced with the bridesmaids first to"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"...and the groomsman to Jay-Z "Roc Boys"....All the men in the wedding party put on OLD SKOOL SNEAKERS,...too funny. The Bride & Groom were introduced to "Bring Em Out". The first dance took place after to "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton...The parents dances were next.Father/Daughter to "Just The Way You Are"...Mother/Son to A Song For Mama". Toasts took place after then the buffet opened up for all as I played some Spanish guitar music and love songs. After a speech from the groom the dance floor rocked with the sounds of 70/80/90's Top 40 Dance, Disco, R&B, Latin and a special mix of Urban Rap with a twist of House ending the night with "Time Of My Life"....best wishes to Pierre & Nicole.....
