Wedding and Reception at the Playa Largo / Islamorada

Marcia and Rudy Ellis celebrated their dream destination wedding at the Playa Largo Resort in Key Largo, FL on 5/7/2017.  This was a small but very fun wedding which began with an outdoor ceremony where 19 close friends and family members attended.  After a short ceremony everyone was invited to the ballroom for the cocktail hour and reception.  I decorated the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  Marcia and Rudy chose Spring Love by Stevie B for their intros then went right into their first dance which was All Of Me by John Legend.  Half way through the song I invited all of the guests to dance floor as requested by Rudy.  Rudy then danced with his mom to I'll Give All My Love To you by Keith Sweat then Marcia danced with her son Kris to Is This Love by Bob Marley and with her other son Frankie to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men.  The toasts were given by Stephanie (matron of honor) and Odis (best man) then Rudy and Marcia's kids (Frankie, Kris, Kayla and Jayden) said a few words to congratulate their newlywed parents.  Marcia provided me with a play list that included top 40, freestyle, latin favorites and r&b.  Perfect mix of genres for this small group that really enjoyed and commanded the dance floor.  We did have a garter/bouquet toss and a cake cutting as the night progressed along with an anniversary dance.  The closing song for the evening was Vivir Mi Vida by Marc Anthony...great last song.  Congrats to Marcia, Rudy and the entire Ellis and Granados families.
