Alice and Carlos Gazabon tied the knot on 3/9/2013 at The Players Club in Wellington FL. I knew I was in for a good one when the groom and the groomsmen entered the ceremony to the Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme). The outdoor ceremony went great then all of the guests were directed to the cocktail hour area which was also outdoors. The happy couple posed for pictures with friends and family members while their guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited to the ballroom for the grand entrance and the reception. I lined up the 17 member bridal party just outside of the double doors and they were pumped up for the intros. Alice chose Apache by The Sugar Hill Gang for the entire bridal party (including her and Carlos) for the intros. This is a very musical family because the first dance was performed by Kayla (bridesmaid). She sung So This Is Love from the Cinderella Soundtrack then Alice's dad Carlos sang De Nina A Mujer by Julio Iglesias while he danced with Alice. It was very heart-felt for dad to sing the father/daughter song!! Carlos then danced with his mom to A Song For Mamma by Boyz II Men (spanish version). The toasts were given by Maritza (maid of honor) and Francisco (best man) before the first of three courses was served. Carlos and Alice provided me with a great play list. Their nationalities are Puerto Rican, Costa Rican and Columbian so I did play salsa, merengue, bachata and mixed in some top 40, classic rock, booty and hip-hop. They all seamed to really enjoy the mix as the dancing went on. With about an hour left, Alica and Carlos cut their wedding cake and had the garter/bouquet toss. The highlight of the evening was doing the Harlem Shake!!! It was amazing how perfect it looked. The last song for the evening was Don't Stop The Party by Pitbull that was a special request from Alice to all of the guests. This was an unbelievably fun crowd that danced for most of the evening. Congrats to Alice, Carlos and the entire Castro, Gazabon and Barrios families. Thanks for making the happy couple's big day memorable.
