On Jan.28th, 2012 a destination wedding took place at the Postcard Inn @Holiday Isle in the upper keys of Islamorada. The happy couple Michael and Jamie had 100 friends and family members come from all over to this ocean-side ceremony/weeding reception. The pre-lude music was a tropical setting of steel drums. The maid of honor walked to a steel drum version of Canon in D,as the bride walked to "Over The Rainbow" by Israel K...the recessional was a steel drum version of the wedding march. For cocktail hour a mix of reggae & tropical was the choice as guests enjoyed the atmosphere of a wedding in paradise. The introduction for the wedding party was "I Got A Feeling" by B.E.Peas....the couple went into their first dance to "I Wanna Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler .Everyone had a great big laugh for that song. After a couple of toasts it was time for a great buffet meal....A mix of classic Sinatra, Beatles and Classic rock played .After dinner it was party time till the end....This group came to dance....Top 40 Pop/R&B, Dance music from the 70's 80's 90's...Classic rock and some of the best Old Skool Hip-Hop....We paused for as few minutes as Jamie and Michael cut the top of their cake to "Love & Marriage" by F.Sinatra (The rest was a yummy display of cupcakes)....The last song was a classic, "Imagine" by J.Lennon. By request as I sent this happy couple off, the bride had me announce for all to follow them to the pool and jump in with them...and yes...a hand full did...clothes and all. Best wishes to Mike & Jamie....Thanxs Roberto (D.J./M.C. Rob)
