Wedding and Reception at the Red Fish Grill

On Saturday November 17th, 2012 I played for Celine and Jeff Hsu (Sue), and eighty friends and family members at the Red Fish Grill in Key Biscayne. What a breath taking setting for the ceremony, which was held on the beach. For the bridal party I played an instrumental "Flightless Bird" by Iron & Wine, and Celine walked to "Canon In D". After they tied the knot and sealed their vows with a kiss I played "I'm Yours" for the recessional. The cocktail hour and reception was held outdoors on the patio over looking the bay. For the first hour I played a mix of Adult Contemporary favorites from the 60's through the 90's. I introduced the bridal party to "Good Time" by Owl City  & Carly Rae Jepsen. Celine and Jeff chose "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz for their first dance. After four toasts and a delicious sit down dinner I got the party rocking with a mix of todays Top 40 dance hits and some retro tunes from the 80's. Jeff & Celine cut their cake to L-O-V-E by Michael Buble, and Celine tossed her bouquet to "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction. Eddie B & Company also provided Amber Up Lighting and LED dance floor lights to add some color to the venue. With about an hour to go, a fireworks show erupted behind us over the bay from another party. All of the guests went running out to the front of the restaurant to get a better view. The highlight of the evening is when the M.O.H. and B.M. organized a Newlywed Game for the happy couple. Jeff & Celine answered questions just like the show on TV. This brought a lot of laughs and a few Oooohs and Aaaah's. We ended the night with "Today Was A Fairytale" by Taylor Swift. The remaining guests surrounded Celine and Jeff on the dance floor and sang to them one last time! All the best to Mr. & Mrs. Hsu....DJ/MC Eddie B!
