Wedding and Reception at the Riverside Hotel
Suzanne and Ryan Nordyke celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 6/3/2017. This wedding had it all!!
The festivities began with an indoor ceremony (weather was not cooperating) where approximately 80 guests witnessed the happy couple tie the knot. The ceremony music was provided by a violinist and the cocktail hour music was provided by a keyboard player. We were hired for the 4 hour reception and included in their wedding package 24 amber colored, LED up-lights, dance floor lights, a 16' x 16' LED dance floor and our signature "Strike A Pose" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. After the cocktail hour all of the guests were invited to the ballroom for the grand entrance and reception. I lined up the 23 member bridal party for the grand entrance as everyone found their seats. Suzanne chose Night Keys by Satin Jackets for the grandparents and parents intros, Vogue by Madonna for the bridal party intros and Levels by Aviici for her and Ryan's intros. The first dance was to L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole. It was sung by Pastor Dan Lanney and a background trumpet player that was hired by Ryan's family. Suzanne danced with her dad to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion and Ryan danced with his mom to Too Marvelous For Words by Frank Sinatra. The toasts were given by Maegen (woman of honor) and Brandon and Martin (co-best men) then Pastor Dan gave the blessing of the meals. The 1st of a 3 course dinner was served and the reception was in full swing. Suzanne did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, classic rock, oldies and club/house music. After diner the dance floor filled up quickly. These party people were high energy all night long. We did have a garter/bouquet toss and the cake cutting ceremony along with requests for some of the newer group dances. The LED dance floor really added to the fun. It looked amazing!! The closing song for the evening was All You Need Is Love by The Beatles as all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple for one last send off!! Congrats to Suzanne, Ryan and the entire, Nordyke, Urban and McConnell families.
