Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here with this weeks installment of the wedding blog.
On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Kelsey and Patrick, held at the Riverside Hotel. The ceremony was held on the 8th floor patio overlooking the new river and downtown Ft. Lauderdale. As the guests gathered for the ceremony, I played some NEO classical songs by the 2Cellos. Soon after, the bridal party arrived. I played "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve. Then Kelsey walked down the aisle. I used "Can't Help Falling In Love" by Haley Reinhardt. The ceremony was traditional, with the exchanging of rings and sealed with a kiss!
I then played "Best Day Of My Life" by the American Authors".
The cocktail hour then commenced with live guitar music provided by Eddie B. & Company.
Once the main room was opened , I proceeded to ask the guests in. I kept the feel light and funky. The bridal entrance began with the introductions of the wedding party. I played "Bring Em Out" by T.I. Then Patrick and Kelsey walked in! I used "Unforgettable" by French Montana. I then asked them to dance the first dance. "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur was chosen. once that ended, I asked Kelsey to dance a special song with her uncle. They chose "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. Then Patrick danced with his mom. "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart was the chosen song. About half way through, I invited the rest of the guests to dance with them. It was great to see a full dance floor!
One that ended, I asked Curtis and Anna to say a few words. It was nice to see such close friends say wonderful things about Patrick and Kelsey. Shortly after that, I invited everyone to sit for dinner. I played some light songs, Motown, old school and light rock. I also mentioned that the photo booth that was provided by Eddie B. & Company was open!
After dinner, I started the dancing with a slow song and we never looked back
I was able to play a lot of different styles of dancing music. Top 40, oldies, Hip Hop, even some country!
It was a great party. The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT LONG. A real testament to the love and joy that Patrick and Kelsey bring to everyone.
Congrats to the Bride and Groom!
