Wedding and Reception at the Riverside Hotel

On Saturday November 28th I was at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the wedding ceremony and reception of Mike and Gillian. The ceremony took place at 4pm on the patio area overlooking the intracoastal and beautiful cityscape of downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to Better Together by Jack Johnson, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. McMullen celebrated together while singing Perfect by Ed Sheeran. The reception area was held on the rooftop terrace of the Riverside, overlooking the shops of Las Olas. The canopy area for dinner was decorated with cyan blue LED up lighting from Eddie B & Company. When it was time for introductions I invited everyone to stand as we all welcomed the Mike and Gillian to I’m Shipping Up To Boston by Dropkick Murphys. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to This Magic Moment by The Drifters. During dinner, I played a few jazzy pop songs while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of merengue, pop, hip hop, and 80s for all the guests to enjoy.
