Wedding and Reception at the Riverside Hotel

Vanessa and Steve Carruth celebrated their dream wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 3/19/202.  This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the New River.  Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the 8th floor for the cocktail hour and reception.  Vanessa surprised her guests with a Mariachi band for the cocktail hour as they enjoyed drinks and appetizers.  As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 14 member bridal party for the grand entrance.  Vanessa chose Ritmo by The Black Eyed Peas for the bridal party intros and Thunder In The Rain by Kane Brown for her and Steve's intro.  The first dance was to Speechless by Dan + Shay then Vanessa danced with her dad to Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle then all of the guests found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal.  Jeremy (family friend) gave the blessing of the meal then Molly (maid of honor) and Bill (best man) gave the toasts.  Vanessa did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, latin favorites and 80s and 90s dance hits.  What a great mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests.  As the evening progressed we did have a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss along with a few requests for couples dances.  The closing song for the evening was Glad You Came by The Wanted and that put a bow on a nice Friday night Riverside wedding.
