On Saturday, November 20th I was at Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the wedding ceremony and reception of Tysen and Charlotte. The ceremony took place on the patio area overlooking the intercoastal, just before sunset. The groom along with his groomsmen and the bridal party walked to the altar to Going to the Chapel by The Dixie Cups, followed by the bride who walked down the aisle to Thinking Out Loud covered by Daniel Jang. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, the new Mr. and Mrs. Sargent celebrated to Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder, while the guests cheered. The cocktail hour and reception were held on the 8th floor of the Riverside Hotel, with a photo booth provided by Eddie B & Company, for the guests to enjoy. When it was time for introductions I invited the bridal party to stand in a large circle on the dance floor as we all welcomed Tysen and Charlotte to The Sound of Da Police by KRS-One. The couple then embraced each other for their first dance to Stand By Me by Ben E. King mixed with Back that Thang Up by Juvenile. During dinner, I played a some R&B while the guests enjoyed their meal and the rest of the night was a party with a mix of pop, hip hop and party favorites for all the guests to dance to. The reception was full of laughter, dance battles and a singing performance from one of the guests. Thank you Tysen and Charlotte for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was an absolute pleasure partying with you and your family. DJ Chris (E-Low)
