Wedding and Reception at the Riverside Hotel
Tia and James Cifu celebrated their dream wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 4/9/2022. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony overlooking the New River on the intercostal water ways. Approximately 100 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited to the 8th floor for the cocktail hour and reception. At the cocktail hour our very own acoustic guitarist Bo provide the easy listening tunes and Natalia worked our "Open Air" photo booth while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a monogram (with their names and the date) all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 17 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Tia chose We Are Family by Sister Sledge for the parents intros, Crazy In Love by Beyonce for the bridal party intros and We Found Love by Rhianna for her and James' intro. The first dance was to With Me by Sum 41 then James danced with his mom to Simple Man by Shinedown. The toasts were given by Jessie (maid of honor) and Vince (best man) then James gave a welcoming speech and thanked everyone for attending his and Tia's big day. After a 3 course meal the dance floor got very hot!! Tia provided me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, EDM, alternative and latin favorites. She covered all of the dance-able genres and her guests did not disappoint. They danced the night away and only took a break for the cake cutting and bouquet toss (no garter). Tia and James surprised everyone by inviting Stanley C. Panther (the Florida Panther's mascot) to the reception for all to party with. The closing song for the evening was Give Me Everything Tonight by Pitbul and that put a bow on a fantastic Saturday night Riverside wedding.
