Laila and Lenny Juarbe celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 4/16/2022. This amazing wedding began with an outdoor ceremony at the New River courtyard overlooking the intercostal water-ways. Approximately 80 close friends and family members witnessed a very beautiful ceremony then they were all invited to the cocktail hour and reception on the 8th floor. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. I also decorated the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance. Laila chose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party intro song and Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen for her and Lenny's intro. The first dance was to Lovesong by Adele then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by all 3 of Laila's daughters and by Greg (best man) then Laila (maid of honor) gave the welcoming speech. Lenny did provide me with a nice play list that included top 40, classic rock, latin favorites and EDM. The dance floor opened up after dinner and the reception was in full swing. There was no garter/bouquet toss but they did cut their wedding cake and I did take a few requests for group dances and for reggaeton. Laila and Lenny surprised everyone with an appearance from a Star Wars Storm Trooper that hit the dance floor and partied with all of the guests. The closing song for the evening was my all-time favorite New York, New York by Frank Sinatra...PRICELESS!!!
Congrats to Laila, Lenny and the entire Juarbe and Kabani families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Riverside Hotel for always providing excellent service.
