Kayla and Juan Martinez celebrated their wedding at the Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 2/4/2023. Approximately 120 close friends and family members arrived to the Riverside and were directed to the ceremony on the New River. After the ceremony Kayla, Juan and immediate family members posed for pictures while everyone was invited to the 8th floor veranda for the cocktail hour. During the cocktail hour I played a mix of Rat Pack favorites and I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights and a monogram with their name and the date all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 16 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Kayla chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Congratulations by Post Malone for her and Juan's intro. The first dance was to Take My Name by Parmalee then Kayla danced with her dad to Sweet Child 'O Mine by Jae Hall and Juan danced with his mom to You'll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. During dinner the toasts were given by Cameron (BM), Rachel (MOH) and by Kayla's dad Mr. De Palma. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a plated 3 course dinner. Kayla did provide me with a play list that included top 40, classic rock, 90s and 2000s dance hits and latin favorites. Amazing energy on the dance floor for the entire evening!! I took some requests for more latin (salsa) tunes and for 90s hip-hop as the evening progressed. Kayla and Juan decided on a low key cake cutting ceremony and no garter/bouquet toss. The closing song for the evening was Mr. Brightside by The Killers and that had all of the remaining guests gather on the dance floor with the happy couple.
Congrats to Kayla, Juan and the entire Martinez and De Palma families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Riverside for always providing excellent service.
