Wedding and Reception at the Riverside Hotel | Nov-2017

Hello, DJ Cristian here at the Riverside hotel in Ft. Lauderdale getting ready to play for John and Anna's Wedding! It is a beautiful day and the Ceremony is about to begin on the New River front across from the hotel. I'm playing Luciano Pavarotti's Ave Maria as guests find their seats. Now it's time for the bridal party to enter so I played Pachobell's Cannon in D minor as they entered. Anna chose a traditional Bridal March to enter and walk down the aisle. After the officiant concludes the ceremony and pronounces them husband and wife, John and Anna they leave with the bridal party to U2 Beautiful day. The Cocktail hour takes place on the balcony outside the reception room.

After the cocktail hour, it is time for the introductions to begin. All of the Bridal party are together so I lined them up and got them pumped up and ready to rock! The bridal party enters to TI's, Bring Em Out and then John and Anna

made their grand entrance to Duty Love by Don Omar. They all rip up the dance floor as they come in and put on a fun show. Now it is time for John and Anna's first dance. They chose an edited version of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. They had a choreographed dance planned out for the song and it went over well. Anna danced with her father to Billy Joel's Just the Way You Are. Now that the dances are done it's on to the toasts, they were presented by John's son and brother Xavier and Anthony followed by the prayer said by John. Dinner was served and played some light easy listening music. Once the guests are done eating I invited them to the dance floor to get the party started. I played a mix of Salsa, Reggaeton, Old School Hip Hop, Dance, Line Dances and towards the end a little Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline and Journey's Don't Stop Believing. It was a lot of fun John and Anna's families were a really fun bunch of people! Towards the middle of the night we Cut the cake to Method Man and Mary J Blige All I need. The Bouquet toss was right after and done to the Beastie Boys, Girls. Then The moment that John had been waiting for all night, the garter removal and toss. John removed the Garter to Color Me Bad's, I Wanna Sex You Up and he tossed it to Cypress Hill's, Insane in the Brain. It was hilarious and a lot of fun. The party continued and then the time came to wrap things up so John and Anna chose to end the night with KC and Jojo All My life and then Green Day's, Time of My Life. Everyone came up and danced as the party had come to an end. It was a pleasure to play for John and Anna's Special day. It was a lot of fun and I wish them both the best! DJ Cristian.
