Amanda and Jared Lowe celebrated their wedding at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, FL on 3/22/2019. Approximately 120 close friends and family members witnessed a beautiful indoor ceremony then they were all invited to the outdoor patio for the cocktail hour. I decorated the ballroom with 24 light pink, LED, wireless uplights and dance floor lights while all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Amanda chose Anyway You Want It by Journey for the bridal party intros and Shut Up And Dance by Walk The Moon for her and Jared's intro. The first dance was to Perfect by Ed Sheeran then Amanda danced with her dad to Cinderella by S.C. Chapman and Jared danced with his mom to Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw. The toasts were given by Morgan (maid of honor) and Gavin (best man) then Jared's dad Mr. Lowe gave the blessing of the meals. Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Amanda did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country, 80s and 90s dance hits and Motown. After the main course the dance floor filled up very quickly. Everyone danced the night away and I even played a few requests for some of the newer group songs. As the evening progressed we had a cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. One of the highlights of the evening was performing the Grease Mash-Up...that always is a big hit!! The closing song for the evening was Don't Stop Believing by Journey and that put a bow on a great Friday night wedding. Congrats to Amanda, Jared and the entire Lowe and Garrison families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Rusty Pelican for their excellent service.
