Wedding and Reception at the Rusty Pelican / Miami
Brittany and Jimmy Presser celebrated their dream wedding at the Rusty Pelican in Miami, FL on 12/3/2022. The ceremony was held on the veranda of the venue over-looking the Miami skyline. Approximately 120 guests witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss then they were all invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers. I played a mix of tropical tunes while they all mingled and posed for pictures with Brittany and Jimmy. Myself and Calvin decorated the ballroom with a 20"x20" Starlight dance floor, 20 white, LED, wireless up-lights, dance floor lights, a monogram with their (names and the date), our signature Cumulus Cloud effect and our signature "Mirror Me" photo booth all provided by Eddie B & Company. As all of the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 8 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Brittany chose Party Rock for her parents intros, Welcome to the Jungle for Jimmy's parents, Party Up for the bridal party and Yeah for her and Jimmy's intro. The first dance was to Lover by Taylor Swift then Brittany danced with her dad to Always Be My Baby by Alan Jackson and Jimmy danced with his mom to Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The toasts were given by Sydney (MOH) and Michael (BM) then Mr. Plotnick (FOB) gave the welcome speech. All of the guests prepared for a 3 course meal and the reception was under way. Brittany did provide me with a play list that included top 40, country dance hits, couples dances and heavy 90s hip-hop. Perfect mix of genres for Brittany and Jimmy's friends and family members. They filled the dance floor after dinner and only took a break for the cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss). The dancing continued and as I played the last song which is my all time favorite all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor with the happy couple for one last dance. By the way that song is New York, New York by Frank Sinatra...PRICELESS!!!
