Rebecca and Roy Castro celebrated their wedding at the St. Sebastian Church auditorium in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 10/3/2015. The ceremony was held at a church in Coral Springs then all of the approximate 150 guests were invited to St. Sebastian church for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests arrived they were greeted with drinks, appetizers and some easy listening tunes while the happy couple posed for pictures. Rebecca and Roy were so excited for their big day. I had the pleasure of DJing Rebecca's sister's wedding last year and it was nice seeing some familiar faces at this one. After the cocktail hour all of the guests found their seats in the ballroom and prepared for the grand entrance. I lined up the 20 member bridal party and they were pumped and ready to go. Rebecca chose Everything Tonight by Pitbull and Neyo for the bridal party entrance and Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for her and Roy's entrance. The first dance was to All Of Me by John Legend then Rebecca danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. The toasts were given by Christina (matron of honor) and Steven (best man) then Rebecca's dad Mr. Handal gave the blessing of the meals. The dinner was buffet style by the one and only Hugh's Catering so you know the food was delicious. Rebecca did provide me with a play list that included top 40, reggae, soca, calypso, salsa, merengue, reggaeton and old school jams. The dance floor was packed immediately after the meals were complete. My gold medal for dancing that evening went to Rebecca's mom Mrs. Carine Handal!!! Boy she can move and she does it with so much style and grace!! As the night progressed we had the cake cutting ceremony and the garter/bouquet toss. The highlight of the evening was performing the Whip/Nae Nae Song with everyone. Everyone was having such an amazing time that I was asked to play and hour overtime!! The closing song for the evening was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble and that put a cap on a wonderful wedding and a great time had by all!! Congrats to Rebecca, Roy and the entire Castro, Urbina and Handal families. I hope I get to work another Handal family wedding soon ...lol!!!
