Michelle and Christopher Rouse celebrated their wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Coconut Grove, FL on 5/12/2017. This was a beautiful Friday morning wedding that began with an outdoor ceremony on the 8th floor patio. Approximately 60 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple tie the knot then they were all invited inside for the cocktail hour and reception. As Michelle and Chris posed for pictures all of the guests mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers while I played a mix of tropical tunes. For the intros, Michelle chose Can't Stop The Feeling by J. Timberlake for the bridal party and Thunderstruck by AC/DC for her and Chris. The first dance was to From The Group Up by Dan + Shay then Michelle danced with her brother Stephen to Wildflower by Tom Petty and Chris danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. The toasts were given by Amanda (maid of honor) and Zachary (best man) then Chris' dad Mr. Rouse gave the welcoming speech. Pastor Jeff Jennings gave the prayer before the meals then everyone prepared for a 4 station brunch buffet. This was more of an easy/relaxed reception with minimal dancing. I did take a few request for some of the group dances which did fill the dance floor for a bit. There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did cut their beautiful wedding cake as the day progressed. The closing songs for the evening were Dinosaur by Hank Williams Jr. and the Florida Gator Fight Song. GO GATORS!!! Congrats to Michelle, Chris and the entire Rouse and Fehr families.
Special thanks to the great staff at the Sonesta for their amazing service.
