Wedding and Reception at the Sonesta Hotel / Fort Lauderdale
Alana and Bryant Facey celebrated their wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 4/22/2016. The ceremony took place on the beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. What a beautiful setting for the happy couple that tied the knot and sealed their love with a big kiss. Approximately 170 close friends and family members witnessed this amazing ceremony then were invited back to the Sonesta for the cocktail hour and reception. As the guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers Alana, Bryant and the bridal party posed for pictures on the beach. I took that time to decorate the ballroom with 24 amber colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I line up the 24 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Alana choose Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars for the bridal party entrance and OMG by Usher for her and Bryant's entrance. The first dance was to For Once In My Life by Frank Sinatra then Alana danced with her dad to My Little Girl by Steve Kirwan and Bryant danced with his mom to A Song For My Son by Mikki Viereck. The toasts were given by Andrea (matron of honor) and Justin (best man) then Alana's dad Mr. Vitale gave a welcoming speech. What a way to get the reception going!!! Everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. Alana did provide me with a great play list that included top 40, classic rock, motown, 90s pop and country. The mix of genres was perfect for this group. They filled the dance floor immediately after the main course. The specialty song for the evening was Landslide by Fleetwood Mac. This is the song that Alana dedicated to her mom and sisters. Very nice touch!!
There was no garter/bouquet toss but the happy couple did take the time to cut the beautiful wedding cake. As the night progressed I played some more dance hits then everyone gathered on the dance floor for the closing song. Alana chose Don't Stop Believing by Journey and that's the way this great wedding ended. Congrats to Alana, Bryant and the entire Facey and Vitale families.
