Wedding and Reception at the Sonesta Hotel / Ft. Lauderdale

Jaime and Will Liou celebrated their dream wedding at the Sonesta Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 8/31/2014.  The entire wedding was held in-doors on the penthouse floor for the comfort of the guests.  The ceremony which was witnessed by approximately 120 close friends and family members took place over looking the Atlantic Ocean.  Just an incredible view of the east coast while Jaime and Will tied the knot.  After the ceremony all of the guests were invited to the cocktail hour for drinks and appetizers.  One of Will's family members set up a slideshow at the cocktail hour for all to enjoy while Jaime and Will headed to the beach for pictures.  During the cocktail hour I took the time to decorate the ballroom with 24 blue colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance.  Will chose Happy by Pharrell for the bridal party entrance and Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO for him and Jaime's entrance.  The first dance was to Magic by Colbie Caillat then Jaime danced with her dad to A Song For My Daughter by Ray Allaire and Will danced with his mom to A Song For Mama by Boyz II Men.  The first two toasts were given by Monica (maid of honor) and Michael (best man) then another 4 toasts were spread out through the evening.  Everyone then found their seats for a three course meal and the reception was under way.  Jaime and Will did provide me with a play list that included top 40, EDM, hip-hop and latin.  They asked me to take requests if I wanted and to rock their wedding like we know how!  After the meals the dance floor filled up quickly and they hardly stopped.  The energy that these guests had was amazing.  We did pause for the cake cutting and the garter/bouquet toss then it was back to the party/fun.  We did perform some group dances and Jaime and Will played the shoe game.  Hilarious!!  The closing song for the evening was Celebrate by Jabbawocky as all of the remaining guests fist pumped in a big circle as we ended this awesome wedding with a bang!!  Congrats to Jaime, Will and the entire Elkind and Liou families.  Special thanks to the staff at the Sonesta Hotel for always providing excellent service.
