On Saturday evening Nov. 15th in beautiful Islamorada at the Southern Diversion Estate, is where a small group of friends and family gathered to celebrate with Dan and Bethany Nartker. The ceremony was held over looking the ocean on the sand as the bridal party walked down the aisle to All I Want is You played by The Vitamin String Quartet. Bethany walked down the aisle with her proud father to Canon In D, once pronounced husband and wife, I Do by Colbie Callaitt. was requested by Bethany as they walked back down the aisle as the guests threw small beach balls at them. Funny!!!
During cocktail hour as the took family photos in the great atmosphere of the keys with great weather, I played some Reggae, Steel Drum and Love songs such as Love Will Keep Us Together, One Love and many songs that had the word Love in as they were definitely a couple that was and will be in Love forever.....
As I invited all the guests to find there seats under the tent, I lined up and introduced the bridal party along with Dan and Bethany to Beautiful Day by U2. Followed by a welcome speech and prayer by the father of the bride. The food station's were opened as I played music from Lou Rawls, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Frank, Dean and many more dinner style soft like Jazz tunes.
Following dinner the toasts were made and then the First Dance with Dan and Bethany took place on a dance floor in the sand to I Don't Dance by Lee Brice. Then Bethany danced with her dad to It Won't Be Like This for Long by Darius Rucker. Dan danced with his mom to I Cross My Heart by George Strait.
Then the party began as they loved to line dance to The Cupid Shuffle, The Macarena, Cotton Eye Joe, The Electric Slide, The Wobble and requested as a family tradition the Chicken Dance.....
They danced to all eras.
Bethany and Dan cut the cake to Beautiful Everytime by Lee Brice and then did a Bouquet toss for ALL the ladies to Hips Don't Lie by Shakira and then Dan did a Football toss for ALL the guys signed and dated by him and Bethany. The song I played was the fight song to his college, Cincinnati Bearcats.
The the party got going as I played hip hop and booty music up to the last song which was Save The Last Dance For Me by Michael Buble....
Dan and Bethany were so happy that I was able to spend and help create and unbelievable wedding for them with all of there family and friends..
