Good Day Bloggers!
DJ Gregg here again with another wedding story to tell. On March 16th, 2013
Matt and Liza were married at the Beautiful Spanish Monastery in Miami. If you have never been there, you are missing a treat! It is a beautiful Gothic, 12th Century Monastery that was disassembled brick by brick and brought over from Spain.
As the guests arrived for the ceremony, I was instructed to keep the music lively.
The bride looked beautiful as she made her entrance! Matt couldn't contain his emotions. It was very touching.
After the ceremony, I played some South Beach Style music. Very cool on a clear evening.
The bridal party danced their way in to the courtyard, then Matt and Liza made their entrance. The place erupted with applause. They danced to Brian McKnight "Back at One". Then we rocked the place with Pitbull "Don't stop the party". A great way to open the party!
I then proceeded to ask the best man and maid of honor to say their speeches. They were very touching.
Now dinner was served. After dinner, I did the Mother/Son dance ."Simple Man" by Skynard was chosen.
Now I invited the guests to dance. We got them moving and grooving
I played all different types of music...From new to old and everything in between.
Then we did the garter and bouquet toss. This was a little different. Matt put on a miner's headlamp and went "Searching" for the garter. What he found was a big old pair of Granny Panties! It was hilarious!
A lot of fun was had throughout the evening. I know Matt and Liza will have a very strong marriage. DJ/MC Gregg Pellito
