On Friday February 8th I had the pleasure to play for Gabriel and Leticia’s wedding celebration at the beautiful Spanish Monastery. Close to 130 family members and friends joined them. Ceremony took place outdoors under a beautiful blue Miami sky. As guests arrived I played a mix of piano guys and acoustic guitar. Bridal party walked down the aisle to “Canon In D”, followed by Leticia’s grand entrance to “Gold” by James Vincent McMorrow. Processional was to “Celebration” by Kool & The Gang. Once the ceremony concluded guests were invited to the courtyard for cocktail hour, I played a mix of spanish pop, reggae, bachata. Once cocktail hour ended guests were invited to the reception area and was highlighted with Lavender LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company along with our awesome photobooth. Bridal party introduction was to “You Make My Dreams” by Daryl Hall & John Oats. Gabriel and Leticia grand entrance was to “Vivir Mi Vida” by Marc Anthony, followed by their special first dance to “Falling Slowly” by Glen Hansard. Leticia and her father Gilberto shared a special dance to “Tu Guardian” by Juanes, Gabriel and his mother Sylvia shared a special dance to “Wind Beneath My Wings” by Bette Midler. Toasts were given by best man Johnny and maid of honor Maricarmen. During dinner I played a mix of rat pack. Once dinner concluded it was time for the grand surprise, our LED robot surprised Gabriel, Leticia and all their guests. These guests were energetic and fun I played all the top 40’s hits and all the latin hits including all the puerto ricans must play. Last song of the evening was to ‘Vivir Mi Vida” by Marc Anthony.
