On Saturday November 12th, 2012 I played for Christina & Paul Riley and thirty guests at the historic Sundy House in Del Ray Beach. First of all if you have never been to the Sundy House, do yourself a favor and go enjoy a First Class restaurant and the natural enviroment which surrounds it. Once again another beautiful day for an outdoor wedding. The evening started out with the ceremony in the gazebo and a acoustic guitar solo (The Wedding Song), sung by Pauls father Steve. Then the bridal party walked to "Ave Maria" and Christina walked to "Canon in D" by the O'Neill Brothers. After they said their I do's I played "Trumpet Tune and Air" and Paul & Christina sealed it with a kiss. Then the party moved to the front of the Sundy House and cocktail hour was a mix of Adult Contemporary hits. I formally introduced the newlyweds to "Beautiful Day" by U2 and their first dance was "Stuck On You" by Lionel Richie. Pauls family was from Jamaica so I mixed in quite a few Reggae & Calypso Hits for all to enjoy, along with Top 40 hits and retro tunes from the 80's and 90's. For the cake cutting they chose Sugar, Sugar by the Archies. The final song was the Donna Summer classic, "Last Dance", and everyone rallied around the newlyweds one last time before I said goodnight and thank you! Christina & Paul are off to Jamaica for their honeymoon and I want to say hats off to the entire staff at the Sundy House, for a job well done!.......DJ/MC Eddie B!
