If you have never been to the Sundy House in Delray, they you are missing a treat.
Especially if you are planning an intimate wedding.
That is exactly what Dan and Alexa had in store for us, on Saturday September 28th, 2013
As the guests arrived for the ceremony, I played some contemporary Classical. The Vitamin String Quartet provided the soundtrack.
As the bridal party cam in I played U2 "Beautiful Day". The Alexa arrived. She was radiant! I played "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone.
the ceremony was short but sweet. I then played James Brown....Yes...James Brown "I feel good". It was awesome!
The cocktail music was provided by Michael Kennedy the Sax player, provided by Eddie B & Company. Afterwards I invited the guests down to the house.
Just then it started to rain. Perfect timing!
I proceeded to do the grand entrance and the first dance "Lucky" by Jason Mraz.
I then asked the maid of honor and best man to present their toasts.
Now dinner is served. I kept the mood very classic. Rat Pack, Jazz, Light Rock. It was a great mix.
After dinner I invited Alexa to dance "The Way You Look Tonight" by Sinatra with her father.
Now it was Dan's turn. Billy Joel "She's Got A Way" was the requested song.
After that I opened the dance floor.
I kept it current and throwing some old school songs in there for good measure.
When it came time for the cake cutting ceremony, I invited everyone outside to the gazebo. There is nothing more beautiful than cutting a wedding cake under the stars.
They were very cordial to each other. No messy faces!
I then invited everyone back to the floor and we danced the rest of the night!
All in all, it was a great evening (even though it rained on and off all night)
