Wedding and reception at the Waterstone Resort / Boca Raton

DJ Gregg is here again with this installment for you.

On Saturday, I had the great pleasure of being the DJ/MC for the wedding and reception of Joshua and Danielle. It was held at the beautiful Waterstone Resort in Boca Raton. The room is on the top floor with a panorama view of the ocean, inlet and intra coastal waterway. A very unique spot indeed!

As the guests arrived for the ceremony, I was asked to play some Neo-classical tunes by the Piano Guys and Vitamin String Quartet.

The bridal party entered with "Just the way you are" and "Can't Help falling in Love" by the Piano Guys. Danielle entered with "A Thousand Years" by the Piano Guys. The ceremony was very sentimental and warm.

Afterwards, everyone went back upstairs to the room for cocktails. I was asked to play some South Beach style music.

Afterwards, I invited all into the main ballroom. It was bathed in Royal Blue LED up lights provided by Eddie B & Company. They also had the LED dance floor, again provided by Eddie B & Company. It looked spectacular! Also provided by Eddie B was an Open Air photo booth for all of the guests to enjoy!

The introductions went off without issue. I played individual songs for each of the bridal couples. Then Josh and Danielle entered the room. I played "Shut Up and Dance with me" for them. The place erupted with applause! I then asked them to dance the first dance "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw. Afterwards, I invited the bridal party and guests to dance along with them. i played "Wonderful tonight" by Clapton.

I then asked the Maid of Honor and Best Man to say a few words. Very special indeed! Now dinner is served. I was asked to keep it fairly light with some light vocal from different genres and decades. This crowd was a very fun and energetic crowd. They wanted to dance....even during dinner! So, I delivered!

We kept the party going all evening long. The dance floor was packed all evening!

So many complements of the music and the great lighted dance floor. The crowd really loved it. they also loved the photo booth. Again, provided by Eddie B & Company.
