Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the Westin Cypress Creek is where the Ceremony for
Justin and Lindsay took place in the ballroom. I set up Cyan Blue uplights to
create a beautiful atmosphere as the bridal party walked down to I Won't Give Up
by Jason Mraz. Lindsay walked to the instrumental version of Yerushalayim
Shel Zahav by Boris Savchuk. When the ceremony was over, they walked back to A
Whole New World as the theme of the wedding was Disney.
During cocktail
hour I played upbeat music, such as Blondie, Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, and many
other artists that kept the guests moving and tapping there feet during
cocktails.
As I lined up the bridal party and introduced them to I Gotta
Feeling by Black Eye Peas, they all entered into a well lit room of Cyan colors
set up by Marc Evans and provided by Eddie B and company.
The first dance
was done to Little Wonders by Rob Thomas. As I invited all the guests to join
in, the following song was the celebration Hora as we lifted the bride and
groom, there parents and the sister of the bride.
Following the toasts
and salad was being served I played a few Disney songs. Circle of Life, You Got A
Friend In Me, The Lion Sleeps Tonight and many more that kept with the Disney
theme.
The father/daughter dance was to Singing in the Rain by Frank
Sinatra and the groom danced with his mom to What a Wonderful World by Louis
Armstrong. Then I pumped up the music before dinner to Pitbull, Don't Stop the
Party, Party Rock Anthem, The Cupid Shuffle and other party songs.
During
dinner I continued with some Disney songs along with Frank, Dean and
Buble.
The cake was cut to Everlasting Love, following with the garter to
My Pony, Single Ladies as the groom used his teeth and the guests went
crazy.
Then the party continued as they danced to the last song and sang along to
Piano Man with the grooms fraternity.
The party was an Awesome party that
ran very smooth as the bride and groom let me choose music that would rock and I
did.
Enjoy the Mediterranean vacation....Marc Evans
