Ashley and Blake Ber celebrated their wedding at the Westin Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on 12/10/2022. The ceremony was held on the 4th floor veranda where approximately 120 close friends and family members witnessed the happy couple make it official with a big kiss. The cocktail hour was held on the same floor and as they all mingled and enjoyed drinks and appetizers I played a mix of tropical tunes. I also took the time to decorate the ballroom with 20 amber, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company. As the guests entered the ballroom I lined up the 12 member bridal party for the grand entrance. Ashley chose Bring 'Em Out by T.I. for the bridal party intros and Levels by Avicii for her and Blake's intro. The first dance was to Don't Wanna Miss A Thing by Aerosmith then Ashley danced with her dad and Blake danced with his mom to My Wish by Rascal Flatts. We performed the traditional Jewish Hora then everyone found their seats and prepared for a 3 course meal. The toasts were given by Lauren (MOH) and Bryce (BM) then by Ashley's parents and by Blake's mom. Ashley did provide me with a play list that included top 40, alternative, EDM and classic rock. Perfect mix of genres for this very energetic group of guests. We did have a cake cutting ceremony (no garter/bouquet toss) as the evening progressed but the dance floor was the place to be.
As the evening came to a close I played I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston and that put a bow on an amazing Saturday night wedding.
Congrats to Ashley, Blake and the entire Ber and Prince families.
Special thanks to the staff at the Westin for always providing 5 star service.
