Wedding and Reception at the Wyndham Hotel / Boca Raton

On Sunday May 26th, 2013 I played for a destination wedding at the Wyndham Hotel in Boca Raton for Jessica and Lee Simes and 50 family members and friends. The evening started with a ceremony poolside in front of the fountain on a bright sunny afternoon. I played "Storybook Love" by Mark Knopfler for the bridal party and Jessica walked to "The Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. For the recessional I played "Over the Rainbow" and everyone remained outside for pictures. The cocktail hour was a mix of Jazz and Adult Contemporary tunes, followed by the introductions of the bridal party to "I Gotta Feeling" and then "Burn It Down" by Linkin Park for Jessica and Lee. Once again Eddie B & Company provided Cyan Blue LED wireless up lighting and LED dance floor lights, to enhance the ambiance of the ballroom! The first dance was "Overwhelmed" by Tim McMorris followed by the father/daughter dance, "Butterfly Kisses, and the mother/son dance "Wind Beneath My Wings". DJ Jerry Otano from Eddie B & Company,then took over on the mix board and provided 3 hours of non stop party mixes that include Old Skool Hip Hop, Top 40 Club hits, Retro 80's, Classic Rock, and a few Ballads. The cake was cut to "Grow Old With You" by Adam Sandler and  I presented the Anniversary Dance to "On The Wings of Love" by Jefferey Osborne. The winner were grand parents married 62 years! For the final song, it was "Shipping Up To Boston" by Dropkick Murphys since this is where the newlyweds are from. I want to say for a small wedding these people knew how to party and loved to dance!
