Wedding and Reception at the Wyndham Hotel / Deerfield Beach

Christine was not going to let the rain spoil her first wedding that she had waited 60 years for. With family and friends and 8 grandchildren, Dennis and Christine were married on Saturday May 19th, 2012 by their friend at the Wyndham Hotel in Deerfield Beach. The bridal party walked down to Louis Armstrong and the bride and her mom walked to "Like My Mother" by Alaina.  After the coupled were pronounced husband and wife, I played Zippidy Do Dah from Mickey and Friends at Disney.Cocktail hour was very close and intimate and everyone was enjoying the weather by the water. Once we entered the main ballroom I played The Elmo version of Sexy and I Know It for the grandchildren and then Sexy and I Know it by LMFAO for the bride and groom. Their first dance was by BillyJoel, "Just The Way You Are" as everyone joined in.Throughout the evening I played off the list of requests which consisted of oldies and top 40. I joined them all on the dance floor as I taught the Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. Everyone danced and had a great time and celebrated the wedding day of Dennis and Christine Burger and were very pleased with the entertainment I provided. DJ/MC Marc Evans.
