Wedding and Reception at the Wyndham Hotel / Deerfield Beach

DJ Gregg with this week's installment of the wedding blog. On Saturday I had the pleasure of being the DJ for Regina and Phillip's wedding. They were married at the beautiful Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort in Deerfield Beach Fl. This venue is very nice with breathtaking views over the ocean! As the guests arrived, they were escorted to the patio on the perimeter of the resort. Here is where the ceremony was performed. I played some Neo Classical songs for the prelude as requested.
Soon after, the ceremony started with the entrance of the bridal party. I played "For Once In My Life" by Stevie Wonder for the gents. Then Reginal and the ladies walked down. I played "First, Last, Everything" by Barry White. The ceremony was very traditional with church bells ringing and all!. 
Once the ceremony ended, I played"Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" by Gloria Gaynor.

Once the ceremony ended,  I invited the guests into the main ballroom. I looked great and was illuminated with Cyan Blue Up-Lighting, provided by Eddie B & Company!
Once everyone was settled in, I proceeded to invite the bridal party in for the "Grand Entrance" . During this time, I'm a Believer by Smash Mouth. Then Regina and Phillip entered! The guests erupted with applause!. I then proceeded to ask Regina and Phillip to start the first dance. They picked "The Best That I Got" by Anita Baker. Then I invited all of the guests to dance. Our newlyweds chose "Feels So Good" by Chuck Mangione.

Shortly after that I asked Jean, Shelly, and Travis to say a few words. They all toasted Regina and Phillip with love and reverence!

Now dinner service has started. During this time I played some standards, old school music and island tunes
Once dinner was finished I played a couples song to get everyone up and then I hit the ground running! I am happy to say that this was a very happy and fun group of guests! I was able to play music from all generations, and everyone danced!
It was a really memorable evening and I wish Regina and Phillip the best!
