Wedding and Receptionat the Wyndham Hotel / Deerfield Beach

Loretta and Tony Wheatley celebrated their dream destination wedding at the Wyndham Resort in Deerfield Beach, FL on 7/7/2014.  This wedding took place on a Monday 7/7/14 because Tony's favorite number is 7 and that's that day of the week it fell on.  The ceremony took place on the beach over-looking the Atlantic Ocean so most of the guests that traveled from Pittsburgh seemed very impressed by the beautiful view.  Loretta looked beautiful as she was escorted down the isle by her brothers.  After the ceremony everyone was invited back into the resort for the cocktail hour to enjoy drinks and appetizers.  During the cocktail hour I decorated the ballroom with 24 lavender colored, LED, wireless up-lights and dance floor lights all provided by Eddie B & Company.  As I lined up the bridal party for the grand entrance, all of the guests found their seats and prepared to get the party started.  Tony chose We Are One by Frankie Beverly and Maze for the 8 member bridal party intro and All Of Me by John Legend (Tiesto remix) for him and Loretta's intro.  The firsts dance was to Primetime by Janelle Monae then Loretta danced with her two brothers to Unforgettable by Nat and Natalie Cole and Tony danced with his mom to You Are The Sunshine Of My Life by Stevie Wonder.  The toasts were given by Ebony (maid of honor) and Michael (best man) then a good friend of the family Farida read a beautiful poem to acknowledge those who were with us in spirit.  Very nice touch!!  The first of a three course meal was served and the reception was under way.  Tony did provide me with a play list that included top 40, Hip-Hop, R&B, classic soul and funk.  The mix of music was perfect and I added in a few group dances for all to enjoy.  We did perform the garter/bouquet toss and the cupcake cutting as the night progressed and the dance floor continued to pump.  As I played the last 2 songs for the evening which were Get Lucky by Daft Punk and the Steeler Polka, all of the remaining guests gathered on the dance floor to shower the happy couple with well wishes.  What a way to end an amazing Monday night wedding!!! Congrats to Loretta, Tony and the entire Wheatley and Bowman families.  Thanks for a great night and for treating me like family!!  Special thanks to the staff at the Wyndham…another one of Eddie B & Company's home away from home!!   For Tony only: "Go Steelers"!!!
