On Sunday August 12th, 2012 I was back at my second home.....The Coconut Cove Resort in Islamorada for Kari and Joe Hoffer from New Bloomfield Pa. Fifty three friends and family members witnessed a short ceremony on the beach, which was sealed with a kiss and alot cheers and whistles!. For the recessional I played "Marry You" by Bruno Mars, and then it was off to cocktail hour and photos on the beach. During this time the guests tapped their toes and enjoyed their favorite beverages to Reggae, Buffet, and Steel Pan music. I introduced the bridal party to "500 Miles" by The Proclaimers, and Kari & Joe to "I Can't Dance" by Genesis. After a delicious buffet and a few toasts, everyone joined the newlyweds around the Tiki Hut dance floor. Kari & Joe chose "She's Got a Way" by Billy Joel, followed by the father/daughter dance which was "Love Will Keep Us Alive", and the mother/son dance "Can't tell me Nothing" by Tim McGraw. The music format was a mix of classic rock and pop hits of the last 30 years. The cake was cut to "Do You Remember: by Jack Johnson. For the garter/bouquet ceremony, Joe removed the garter to "Blue Suede Shoes" and tossed it to "Boy Named Sue". Kari tossed her bouquet to "I Saw the Sign" by Ace of Base. The final song of the evening was "Some Nights" by .Fun! Congrats to Kari & Joe, I wish them all the best! DJ/MC Eddie B!
