On Sunday February 20th, I had the pleasure of playing for Kim and Jeff Casey at the beautiful Coconut Cove Resrt in Islamorada. This couple along with 30 family members came all the way from MIssouri to enjoy a tropical wedding in the Florida Keys. We are the in-house Disc Jockey Company for the Coconut Cove Resort. The weather was perfect, with the sun shining and tropical breezes at her back Kim walked to "This Kind of Love" by Sister Hazel. After vows were exchanged on the beach, and sealed with a kiss, Kim & Jeff walked to UB40's version of "Can't Help Falling In Love". The cocktail reception was a mix of Country, Island music and Easy Listening Tunes. The highlight of the evening was when Jeff sang a Keith Urban song (Only You Can Love Me) to Kim as she sat in the middle of the dance floor (very emotional)! The music mix was everything from coutry traditions like Friends In Low Places, All My Rowdy Friends, and Family Tradition to the Black Eyed Peas and Cupid Shuffle. I want to compliment Paul Bates and his staff at the resort for a "First Class Presentation". From the Tiki torches surrounding the beach, to the tropical decorated dining area, Tiki bar, and dance floor, this resort truly portrays the Keys attitude. DJ/MC Eddie B!
