Ray and Lilianna Jenkins were married on 3/15/2011. The wedding reception and cocktail hour was held at the Deer Creek Country Club. Ray and Lilianna picked a Sunday afternoon for their event because they were looking for more of a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.  Ray and his family are also originally from Long Island NY (MY HOME TOWN). The guests enjoyed a cocktail hour outside by the waterfall/pond to a tropical music selection picked by Ray's mom Seigi.  She was very helpful in making this event just like Ray and Lilianna wanted it.  After the introductions Ray and Lilianna danced to Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton. Half way through the song we invited all of the guests to the dance floor.  Since there were no parent dances I added another song for the guests and bride and groom to dance to. It was Falling in Love With You by Elvis.  Everyone then sat down to eat lunch/dinner and listen to soft easy listening music which was requested by Ray. There was no cake cutting, no garter and bouquet just very close family members and friends enjoying a wonderful afternoon. Scott Jenkins (Ray's brother) and Ray's mom Seigi made two very heart felt speeches after lunch/dinner.  It was a very relaxing and quiet afternoon for the lucky bride and groom. It really put a smile on my face to see that I helped in realizing their dream of a wedding customized just for them.
