On Saturday December 11th, 2010 I played for Elizabeth and Michael Geraci at the Mizner Country Club. We started the evening with a ceremony in the court yard. I played a song "Love Story" by Vitamin String Quartet for the bridal party and then a friend of the bride (Nicole) sang the bridal march "live" (A Moment Like This). After they sealed it with a kiss, the recessional music was different, "Heaven Can Wait" by We the Kings. For cocktail hour, which was held poolside, I played a variety of society music...Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, etc. Then the party moved inside the main ballroom and we started it off with a grand entrance of the bridal party (The Way I Are, instrumental version), and then Mike & Liz to "I Got A Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas! This, my friends was the beginning of a night to remember. Their first dance was "Smother Me" by The Used, again very different but interesting and it fit their personalities. Later after a top notch sit down dinner was enjoyed by all, Elizabeth danced with her father to "Cinderella" by Steven Curtis Chapman, and Mike & his mother danced to "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts. After that they were all mine for 2 hours. From Disco classics to today's top club hits this group of 110 party goers occupied the dance floor until I said goodnight. There was also a photo booth for the guests to enjoy along with a candy station. I also want to say 2 thumbs up to Angie Cleary and her 5 star staff at Mizner, the service and professionalism was Top Shelf!!!!! Thank you and best of luck to Elizabeth & Michael...DJ/MC Eddie B!
